Clare Bolton

Clare is a retired Chartered Accountant and Tax adviser. She was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and retired in 2011 after over 38 years’ service. As well as looking after international clients, she held senior management roles on the UK Tax leadership team, the Northern leadership and as Global Retail and Consumer leader. She also served on the firm’s Global Supervisory and UK Supervisory Boards. She was a Non Executive Director of United Utilities for 7 years up to 1995 and a Trustee of British American Business Group for over 10 years.

Since retiring, she has held a small number of roles in the charitable and educational sectors including the NW Board of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Governor and Treasurer at The Manchester Grammar School and New Islington Free School and joined The Healthy Life Foundation in early 2017.
